Grilled Salmon with Homemade Suya Sauce and Vegetables

In the spirit of eating healthy, I made this dish for dinner last night, it was my first time trying it but it was very yummy in my tummy. My friend gave me the recipe for the Suya Sauce and i decided to put a little spin on it. To my surprise it was a hit since i didn't really follow the recipe as instructed (Sorry). Making this dish has two different parts to it but both are very easy. You can eat the grilled salmon with a salad but personally i don't like salads (i feel like am eating grass) that's why i used mixed vegetable.

Ingredients

1 Package of Salmon(comes in 4)
2 scoops of Peanut butter
4 tsp of lemon Juice
1 Maggi
1/2 Onions
2 Tomatoes
1 Pack of mixed Vegetable
1 Bell Pepper
2 Scoop of red pepper
Extra virgin olive oil

What to do

Step 1: Gather all your Ingredients

Step 2: Boil your Salmon for 5 minutes, add 1 tsp of salt, while is boiling start making your Suya sauce

Suya Sauce

Step 3: Put two Scoops of Peanut butter on bowl

Step 4: Add 2 scoops of pepper and Magi

Step 5: Add 5 tsp of lemon Juice and mix until is blended and becomes a paste

Step 6: By this time, your salmon should have been cooked, you don't want it to cook too long because is going on the grill. Put the cooked salmon in the Suya Sauce and coat

Step 8: Once coated, put your salmon on the grill let each side grill for 5-7 minutes and start making your salad or vegetables

Making the Vegetable

Step 9: Cut your onions, tomatoes and bell pepper

Step 10: On a sauce pan, add extra virgin oil oil then add your cut up onions, tomatoes and bell pepper, let cook for 2 min  stirs occasionally, add a tsp of salt and pepper
Step 11: Add your mix vegetables and mix and stir for 5 minutes, add a little water. You can stop at this stage if you don't like broccoli but I love broccoli.
Step 12: Add Broccoli and let stand for 2 minutes
Step 13: At this time, your salmon should have been done

Step 14: Dish your food

Bonus: You can buy your indoor Grill at Sears for about $40-50
